Solar Panel On Shed

I live in MN and recently had a shed built. I then had a wild idea that it would be really cool to have some power so I did some research and found that you basically need 4 main components to charge a battery and draw current from that battery.

After several months of buying stuff and trying to figure the best way to mount the thing I finally got it up.

System components:

• NPower XRP Series Amorphous Solar Panel — 18 Watt
• NPower Charge Controller — 7 Amps
• UPG Sealed Lead-Acid Battery — AGM-type, 12V, 35 Amps
• PowerDrive RPPD1000 1000-Watt DC to AC Power Inverter with USB Port and 2 AC Outlet

So far I tested with a few things. A boombox and weed-whiper seem to work great. I tried a saw and that overloaded. My Toro blower worked but went in and out. Next step, light.

I believe NPower is the Northern Tool product which is ultimately a Sun Force product
